Well, we can call this New Year's resolution a failure. LOL. I vowed to write a blog entry every week this year and I've already missed the second one. What can you do but keep trying. I'm already missing Christmas but I'm still enjoying watching the movies. Thanks to my DVR, DVDs, and three Hallmark channels, I have plenty of movies to watch again. Thanks to streaming services, I'm finding all these movies I've never seen before. It keeps that Christmas spirit going. I'm still working on...

Happy New Year to all! Thank you so much for spending this last year with me. I’m so excited for 2020. I’ve already starting making changes to the website. When I began the website, I had no idea I’d be up to over 800 reviews already. So many pages had so many reviews it took forever to find what you were looking for so I separated the reviews into more pages. I’m working on fixing the links in the By Actor pages. I’m also working on adding the year each movie was released because...

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! It’s the end of another season of new Christmas movies. Hopefully streaming services will continue to show movies I haven’t seen yet. I’m so excited that I now have over 800 reviews to share with you. I also set a goal for myself to watch 365 Christmas movies in one year. I met my goal Christmas Eve morning. Now I have to try to beat it next year. Lol. I hope you continue to enjoy the site throughout the year as Hallmark and streaming services...

I can’t believe it’s less than a week until Christmas. It’s been a busy month with so many new Christmas movies to watch. Now is the time where I feel torn. I’m excited that Christmas is coming but I feel the sadness of the nearing end of new movies, decorations, and just plain Christmas. There’s lots of us who feel like it’s Christmas all year but there’s something special about sharing that feeling with everyone. I also feel sad when there’s no new movies to watch. I know...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! As I look back over this year, I’m so thankful for so many things. I’m truly grateful for all the love and support you’ve all given me. This website is truly a work of heart and your sharing it with me means so much. I’m thankful Hallmark has been showing Christmas movies all year. I’d be even more grateful if they did it next year or started a special Christmas 24/7 channel. I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving with family and friends and this...

Hi everyone. Sadly, my computer is broken and had to be sent for repairs. What I can do from the app is much more limited. I’ll still be adding new movies and they will be on the correct page. What I can’t do is place them where they belong alphabetically. They automatically go on the bottom of the page. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this causes you but we all know technology fails us at the worst moments. I have the bonus of the Thanksgiving holiday falling in here so it will take...

People have asked how I decide what score to give movies when I review them. Here's how I choose what score to give them between 1-5. 1-This is for movies that I really did not like watching. Time I wish I could get back. Movies I think are not worth anyone watching. 2-This is for movies that weren't the best but they weren't the worst. I was okay with sitting through them once but I wouldn't watch them again. 3-This is for movies I enjoyed. They're good. I'd love to see them again. 4-This is...

I love listening to Christmas music on the radio. Even though it's just the beginning of November, the music seems to transport me back to the innocence and joy of childhood. I can't help but sing along and, yes, bop around to the music. Even though I love it all year, there's something more special about listening to it closer to Christmas.

I get so excited about seeing the new Christmas movies. It's not that I don't have enough old movies that I love, I just love new stories. I think the networks have mistaken quantity and quality. I saw one movie I loved, one I didn't care for, and the rest were just average. I'd rather have half the movies and have them knock my socks off. What do you think?

It’s officially August and Christmas In July is over. I don’t mind admitting that it makes me sad when the around the clock movies end. I’m grateful that Hallmark is still doing Thursday and Friday night movies but it’s not the same. The constant movies makes it feel like a bit of the Christmas spirit is with us and it takes a little less work to feel it. We just have to wait 3 months and they’ll be back. In the meantime we’ll watch the movies we have and keep spreading that...
